Together.

New blogskin for a new start.

Many things have happened just one month ago. It has truly been a whole roller coaster ride for me and I've definitely learnt alot of new things in just one month, especially in relationships.

Let's start from my camp. I just did Anderson Primary 5 camp @ Labrador on 7-9April. Well it was supposedly my last camp for now because I want to take a break first and concentrate on my driving. Well I would say that Anderson Pri camp was memorable for me in the sense that many new things happened during the camp which I've never experienced before in my past camps. I did this High Element station called Broken Log or something, and being belayed by the EFIs. My gosh, although I've seen many campers doing High Elements and constantly encouraging them to accomplish at least one High Element, I've never imagined that I'll do it as well! It was..omggg. My legs turned damn jelly after that.

I did abseiling too! The campers wanted a demo on it because being Primary 5 kids, that might be the first camp for most of them and so they have no idea at all what abseiling is and what they should do. Abseiling at Labrador is hell different from JBAC. I felt that it's higher and the start of the abseil is already freaky! I seriously regretted doing the demo but as instructors, when you're told to do it in front of campers, you've to do it no matter how frighten you are. Argh.

And omg my group's campfire item CUI. Like seriously man. It's the first time my group's campfire cui after doing so many camps. They had stagefright and decided to cancel the entire skit and just sing a song which they're not even familiar with. OMG. It was a nightmare for me. I swear that nothing like this is gonna happen to my group ever again, considering that I'm actually considered a lao jiao in the company already.

Driving's pretty ok for me. My tp is coming up soon but I shall not reveal the date although some might already know. This is to prevent unneccessary stress from others! Haha Keynes taught me that which makes sense! So yupp, I'm waiting to enter the circuit to do my S-course, Crank course etc before tp! My gosh, I'm still not very good with my pedals coordination =/ stupid clutch.

And yes, news spread like wild fire. Somehow, news about my breakup with XM is spreading damn fast especially in my camp company. So yupp, nothing else much to say about it except that our breakup has NOTHING to do with anyone else. Oh well.

Well, YH and I are together now. Like FINALLY after 3plus years of friendship/sibling-ship (if there's such a ship). We've always been close to each other and many complicated relations in between but whats past is past, I'm just glad that we're finally together. Haha alot of people have been singing this line to me "I'm lucky i'm in love with my best friend". Thats exactly how I feel too! =D Although we only got together now, I believe everything that happened to us individually, happened for a reason.

Anyway, we spent the weekend together and had plenty of fun! Ohman, if only every weekend is like this which i believe it will be =D

We met Choo Ting and Ming Xuan for dinner at cityhall's sakae after YH booked out on friday. Yayaya we were teased by them for finally being together after sooooo many years. Dinner with Choo Ting, Ming Xuan and YH is damn common for the past 3plus years but it's always YH and I diandengpaoing-ing them. It's finally an official double date! =DD

Saturday was spent at Ubin! Mannn that place is DAMN NICE! It feels like I'm going for some camp at Stjohn's, it's just that it's with different people or rather person. It's so niceeee to travel on the bumboat together for a date! Hey at least it's something new okay! =P Next target is travel on plane for date! Hehehe. Anyway, ubin was a challenge if you're on bike and cycling UPSLOPE. Omg it's seriously a test of endurance. And downslope can be dangerous if you're not good at controlling. But we're the PROS muahaha! And nonono, never venture into chek jawa no matter how strongly the tour guides encourage you to. I only see a boardwalk, a tall tower and nothing else but trees and trees and trees which you can find them on any part of the island. Damn rubbish la! Hahaha.

Then we headed to Changi Airport since we're near it and the thought of cold wind slapping our faces after a burning day at Ubin made us choose Changi Airport as our next destination rather than the planned Changi Village to watch ahguas. I never get sick of Changi Airport although my family often went there to chill in the past. It's just so comfortable. And we'll talk about which country to fly to and what to do there etc. But sadly, thats all we do. Talk but no action haiz. And as usual, I was telling YH that i wanna go Paris/NZ. I think they're beautiful places which you should go with your loved one(s). I need MONEYYYY! Oh well. But it's a nice place to talk or just chill.

Sunday was breakfast with YH at Tiong Bahru Mac! Although it was a short meetup, it was enough to make me go happy the whole day! See, it's not the quantity of time but the quality!

Haiz quite torturous to not see him for the past 2 days, today and tomorrow cos he'll be in camp but I'm sure we'll survive through this. What does not kill us only makes us stronger! I believe our relationship will be alot stronger after this whole NS shit cos we know that we're serious with each other and committed in this relationship.

Labour day is coming, ENDURE!

i think this is probably how you feel now..

hope we'll get better in time..

Oops it has been about A MONTH since I last blogged! Sorry, I was feeling too damn lazy and busy to blog because I’m hardly at home or sat long enough in front of my computer/laptop to blog about my life. Yes, life has been pretty happening for the past month, packed with camps, dates, outings, talk cock sessions etc. Alright, let me do a short update on the highlights for the past month. Hmmm it has been so long since I last blogged that I kinda forgot how to blog already. So pardon me if my entry sounded incoherent.

Well I had my 20th bdae and I was super surprised when Yao Xing bought me a bdae cake during pre-camp briefing which was the day before my bdae. It was damn sweet of him la although he smeared cake on my face after that grrr. Thanks Yao Xing! Then I went to meet wuliaos, Yi Hong, Ming Xuan and Chai for Kah Yan’s concert @ UCC. It was hmmm, I think too long never listen to CO music already, so don’t’ really know how to appreciate it anymore. After that, all of us went down to Holland V’s Dessert Bar: 2am to celebrate my bdae! Wahaha that place is pretty cool except that the desserts are quite expensive! But nevermind la, once in a while only heh.

The next day was a 4D 3N Fajar Sec camp @ St John’s Island! Whoooo I love St John’s camp because it’s away from civilization so there is a complete camp feeling. And the best thing is that it is like a free slimming centre! Woah really gotta check out those muscles and tan colour after that camp. I feel like I’m at my fittest and healthiest point in my life after that camp! Haha. Got to know more instructors like Xiu Ming, Kok Ho, Shai, Farhanah, Junice, Da Wei and Qayyum. It was a pretty good camp and my first time working under Mojo.

Crashed Eunice’s De Lasalle Pri camp @ Bottle Tree Park the following day. Haha I think I’m starting to become a hardcore camp instructor, PASSION CAMP! The primary school kids are damn cute la! And the campfire was DAMN HIGH! All the performances are super original and entertaining. Went for supper with a few instructors after that like Kelvin Lam, Rendall, Bao Yun, Shu Xian, Hilda and Benjamin Chan.

Xiu Ming accompanied me to NTU’s open house that weekend. Hmmm realized that there’s actually nothing much we can do with NIE’s degree in Education except be a teacher for a lifetime. Got me pondering for awhile as to whether I have a strong passion to teach long. Then we headed to Jurong Point for ice-creammm and watched Coming Soon. Haha it was a super anti-climax movie.

The following week was Kok Choy’s 3D 2N Geylang Methodist Pri @ Bottle Tree Park. Wahaha I love this camp because firstly, the school is located at Aljunied which is super near my house and secondly, it is a Prefects Camp! In other words, this is a super duper slack camp! And the best part is, there are only 2 instructors for this camp namely Shi Hui and I! Damn cool right? The two of us, together with Chern and Jasmynne (Assistant Chiefs for the camp) do almost nothing for the entire camp except eat and sleep. Seriously man. I put on a few kilos after that camp laaa zzz. But this camp was pretty stressful because the teachers really want the prefects to take away lessons from this camp which means our debriefs have to be super zai. Shi Hui and I really level up after this camp man =)

Went to meet Xiu Ming for lunch @ curry wok in our school uniform the following day! Haha I think I looked quite chao lao in school uniform especially with my current hair colour. And so sad, there’s no student meal thing anymore! =( or maybe it’s just the 2 of us, so they didn’t offer us the student meal package. Then we went botanic garden for a stroll and ermm something happened! Haha. Amelia is no longer single! Haha =P nahh, don’t ask me what he did heh. *secret*

Headed down to Expo’s food fair with XM that weekend. Sigh the food fair was quite disappointing because I felt like I’m in NTUC or something. Not much varieties eh. I was more attracted to the Adidas sale but there was a freaking long queue to go in so forget it man. We went to Changi Airport to slack after that since it was quite near. First time visiting Terminal 3. Yes I know I’m very sua gu.

I was campless for one whole week after that. Went to play badminton with David, Shi Hui, Rendall, Desmond and Gabriel on one random day. Woah it has been long since I touched my badminton racquet! Worked quite hard that day to burn the fats accumulated from the previous camp heh. Kelvin Lam joined us for dinner @ Chomp Chomp after that. Then suddenly, we decided that the night was young and since I live quite near Chomp Chomp, all of us headed to my house for mahjong and stayover session. Yes, instructors are flexible and random people haha. We mahjong-ed for awhile, took turns to bathe and then ransacked my fridge for food to cook. Talk cock all the way till 6am before we decided to sleep haha.

Then I suddenly remembered about my driving lesson. Learnt how to move off from a slope and it was the first time that I drove up to gear 4! Damn shiok man! But almost crashed into a taxi oops. Then went to meet up with David, Shu Xian, Hilda and Gabriel for badminton again. Brought a cui racquet down because my bro koped the good ones and brought them out. Haha the racquet was so cui that I had to throw away the entire thing after that because there was a super big hole in the middle and its not worth the money to change the strings when the whole racquet is soooo heavy to start with. Then Kelvin Lam joined us for dinner and talk cock session @ Kovan after that.

That Saturday was XM’s 21st bdae! Well, we met at Dhoby to buy tickets for The Unborn before heading down to Orchard for lunch. There was this store at Heeren’s basement that sells ice shavings desserts. It was sooo yummy! Haha. Must go there one more time and get my mango ice shavings. Then we returned to Dhoby for The Unborn. Man, I think it was a pretty good movie! At least much better that Coming Soon haha. Feeling a little hungry after that, we headed down to Dempsey Hill and snacked some nachos while waiting for night to fall before bringing him to the all-time favourite House, Barracks and Camp. Whooo I think that is a super nice place to dine! Only thing is the price la but it’s ok, once a while only mah! Haha. Then we went to the Istana Park for HTHT before going home. Hope you had a wonderful 21st bdae, baby! =)

Then Yi Hong, Kah Yan, Chai and I took part in some Cashflow competition the next day. Wuliaos and Ming Xuan were the facilitators for the game. I think it’s quite a fun game after playing it for the second time although it was pretty pek chek when you reached your dream but realized you’ve got no money to buy your dream or when you get a divorce and lose all your cash. After the game, Ming Xuan treated us for lunch because he got some bonus or something from army. So envious of people with more cash in hand heh.

Haiz it’s seriously bored when there’re no camps to do. David, Shu Xian, Arson and I decided to go Kelvin Lam’s house for a cooking session one day. We went to Sun Plaza and bought roti prata, chicken thighs and sausages before heading to Kelvin’s house. Because Kelvin marinated the chicken with wine, he almost burn down the whole kitchen when the wine caught fire! Omg la! I never seen this kinda thing before. It was thrilling yet scary! Haha. And David caused lotsa roti prata to become chao da LOL. It was a fun experience and I realized that more guys are doing the cooking nowadays haha. We nua-ed at his house all day and watched White Chicks. It’s the don’t-know-how-many-times I’ve watched it and yet I laughed like shit. Hehe. Then we met Yao Xing and Jeremy Hehorheh for dinner @ Sun Plaza’s Xin Wang Cafe. Woah the peanut butter toast is damn nice but super sinful! =X

Met up with XM at Bugis the next day for early dinner. We walked around Bugis Junction and Bugis Street and decided to buy couple ring! Pretty anot? I know I’ve got good taste heh. Hmm nothing much that day except for a memorable incident that took place in the toilet which I shall not mention, it’s more of the company that speaks volumes =)

Finally, its camp for me again! It was 3D 2N Radin Mas Pri camp @ St John’s Island. Omg it’s a damn tiring and a totally different experience for a primary school camp @ sji. Firstly, because they’re primary school kids, it’s SUPER TOUGH to push the trolley of food up the St John’s slopes because they don’t have the strength to push, so it depends solely on the instructors. Shagged ah! Secondly, sji is a super tiring campsite already, so we’ll need double the energy to control the hyper-active primary school kids. And I don’t know why I’m always doing the sai kang job. Even Zi Hao noticed it. Oh well, it doesn’t hurt to help out a little bit more la right?

Alright, its nua day for me today and I think I’ve typed damn a lot already. Shall stop here. Later meeting XM for dinner! Adios! =)
